Oil Undercoating Product Lines
We use a combination of our commercial based Steel City Oil and Fluid Film on all vehicles.
Fluid Film is used on all body panels, certain structural parts and inside all of the body and structural components.
Steel City Oil is used on the exposed structural parts of your vehicle. Steel City Oil is a commercial based product only offered at out shop. Steel City Oil contains lanolin just like fluid film however has a calcium Grease added and also a unique crossover oil that had substantial benefits in high wash areas and out performs any other product available.
FLUID FILM
The FLUID FILM product we use at this center is a commercial-based application.
FLUID FILM® is manufactured using an intricate heating and blending process, which combines unrefined wool wax with selective polar agents and corrosion inhibitors, creating a unique, lanolin-based formulation that stops existing rust on contact. Penetrating on contact, creates a fluid, self-healing barrier that is always active and will not chip or crack, protecting vehicle undercoating’s and exposed metals for extended periods of time.
FLUID FILM® penetrates to the base metal, providing a lasting, protective barrier from the corrosive effects of moisture, salts, calcium and sodium chloride, pesticides, and fertilizers. Offering an easy “no-drip” application, FLUID FILM® offers a cheaper and more effective alternative to the standard hard-under-body coatings. Protecting undercoating from metal deterioration, FLUID FILM® also remains soft and pliable, making it self-healing, non-drying, and impossible to crack. FLUID FILM® migrates to inaccessible areas.
STEEL CITY OIL
Steel City Oil is a product specifically developed for vehicle undercoating. This product is oil based and contains lanolin and a calcium grease and other rust inhibitors that are not available in a consumer protect that you can buy at a store or online. This protective coating has provides unmatched protection and has out performed every other product we have tested. This product has undergone extensive testing on thousands of vehicles. It is a non-toxic product. MADE IN THE USA.
GM WAX TREATMENT
If you own a GM vehicle with a wax coating, we are the only shop in the country that had a safe product to maintain factory GM wax coatings. If you do nothing, it will fail. Look at any GM frame that is a few years old! YOU CANNOT APPLY A HARCOATING OR WAX OVER A GM VEHICLES FACTORY WAX COATING else you will destroy it!
